01Who this covers

When you buy a product from the Descriptin shop (mockups, tech packs, prints, sales trackers, website templates and other digital files), you get a licence to use it on these terms. “You” means the person or business that bought it. “The files” means everything in the download.

02What you can do

• Use the files for one brand that you own or run, or for one client project if you're making work for someone else.
• Edit, recolour, crop and combine the files with your own work.
• Use what you make in physical and digital products you sell, such as garments, prints, packaging, labels and hang tags. There's no limit on units sold.
• Use them in your online store, website, ads, social media, lookbooks, pitch decks and printed marketing.
• Send the files to your manufacturer, printer, designer or developer so they can do the work for you, provided they use them only for your brand.

03What you can't do

• Resell, share, give away, sublicense or upload the files themselves, as they are or edited, including as part of another template, mockup or asset pack.
• Put the files on a marketplace, file-sharing site or shared drive where other people can download them.
• Use the files in a product where the file itself is the main thing being sold, such as print-on-demand of an unchanged print or a resold template.
• Claim you made the original files, or register them (or anything mostly made of them) as your trademark.
• Use them for anything illegal, hateful, misleading or defamatory.

04More than one brand

Each purchase covers one brand or one client. If you want to use the same files for another brand or client, buy the product again. If you're an agency or need a wider licence, email hello@descriptin.com.

05Ownership

Descriptin, or the creator we licensed them from, keeps the copyright and all other rights in the original files. You own the new work you make with them, but not the underlying files. Anything not allowed here is reserved.

06Delivery and refunds

Files are delivered digitally as soon as payment is confirmed and stay in your account under “Your downloads”. Because you get the files straight away, you agree when you buy that delivery starts immediately and that you give up any cooling-off right to cancel once you've downloaded them. If a file is broken, missing or not as described, email us within 30 days and we'll fix it, replace it or refund you. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.

07No warranty

The files are provided as they are. We take care to make them accurate, but you are responsible for checking measurements, specifications, colours and suitability before you put anything into production. Our total liability for any purchase is limited to the price you paid for it, except where the law doesn't allow that limit.

08Ending the licence

If you break these terms, your licence ends and you must stop using and delete the files. Products you've already made and sold within the terms before that aren't affected.

09Changes and contact

We may update these terms for future purchases. The version that applies is the one shown when you bought the product. Questions: hello@descriptin.com.
